Fish as he was affectionately known, came down to Selsey in the late eighties after finishing his professional career, most notably with Crystal Palace where he made 319 appearances.

Fish played for Selsey 1st team down to our 3rd team. Fish helped a lot of players that he played with get better just by being in the same side. He also assisted his nephew Danny Hinshelwood when he was in charge of the first team.

During the nineties Fish and Rita ran the Clubhouse at Selsey FC. He was an extremely proud Dad and Grandad, seeing his sons, and most recently grandson Fyn-Lee play for Selsey FC first team.

Fish was always a competitive sportsman who gave it his all and he will be sorely missed.
